RA125 v2.0 : 7/7 Mile End Miles : 09:02:27

I love revisiting runs by looking at numbers. Analyzing run pace on different segments tells us a lot about how things actually went as opposed to how we felt it went.
The following table presents the pace per kilometer for the MileEndMiles team when participating to the RunAround125 and my TOP 10 observations :
The team had a strong start with an average pace of 3:54 on the first 20k.
Things really slowed down between kilometer 21 to 93.
The big differential numbers (DIFF) between kilometer 20 to 100 shows us that the pace was not consistent at all.
Although a pace equal/higher than 5:00 is not necessarily a bad pace in general given the format of this event it was not desirable so that is why it was labelled as problematic. Note the zones in red account for 21k so a significant amount.
What an awesome pace at kilometer 91 (2:47), 114 (2:47) and 118 (2:54).
From kilometer 94 until the end of the race, consitency was back on track which allowed to finish strong.
The good start and finish of the team is consistent with very heated moments of the race. On the first 20k there was an exiting battle between the ELRC and MileEndMiles. On the last 25k there was an unforgettable battle between Yamajo and MileEndMiles.
The MileEndMiles team certainly strived in moments of competition with other teams and struggled when they were by themselves.
Although our first 20k was strong our last 25k was definitely our best stretch. On this first portion our run segments per runner ranged between 2-3k and on the last portion our run segment per runner were of 1k or less which showed us that smaller run segments was definitely the key to performing better at this event at least for our team.
Although the numbers show some highs and lows we thoroughly enjoyed every kilometer we ran which is ultimately the most important observation when taking part in a great event like this one.
YELLOW : An "Awesome pace" (lower than 3:00)
GREEN : A "Great pace" (equal/higher than 3:00 and lower than 4:00)
BLUE : A "Good pace" (equal/higher than 4:00 and lower than 5:00)
RED : A "Problematic pace" (equal/higher than 5:00)
